A dedicated proxy (also called a private proxy) gives you exclusive use of a single IP address for the duration of your subscription. Because you are the only user on that IP, its reputation is entirely in your hands — no risk of inheriting blocks caused by other customers. Dedicated proxies are ideal for tasks requiring consistent identity (maintaining logged-in sessions, managing social media accounts) or for targets that track per-IP history. The downside is cost: dedicated IPs are more expensive than shared ones, and residential dedicated proxies command a significant premium.
