CGNAT (Carrier-Grade NAT)
A technique carriers use to share one public IP among many customers — which is exactly why mobile proxy IPs are so trusted and hard to block.

Carrier-Grade NAT (CGNAT, also called Large Scale NAT or LSN) is a technique mobile and some broadband ISPs use to share a single public IPv4 address among hundreds or thousands of subscribers. Because so many real humans share the same IP, websites cannot block a CGNAT address without also blocking a large number of legitimate users. This makes mobile proxies — which route traffic through real SIM cards behind CGNAT — extraordinarily hard to block. It is also why blocking a single residential IP is less effective than on datacenter ranges: multiple real users typically share each ISP IP.
